Dext
Snap receipts and bills; Dext extracts the data and pushes it to your accounts.
Our verdict
Kills the shoebox of receipts. Worth it if you buy a lot of materials across many suppliers. Many accountants can set it up for you.
Best for: Trades with lots of supplier receipts and bills
What it does

Verdict: A reasonable alternative to Xero, with big intro discounts. Make sure your job management app integrates before you pick it.

Xero
Cloud accounting with JAX, Xero's AI assistant, for reconciliation and BAS insights.
